    With support from RWJF, NGIN conducted a year-long project to identify innovative practices, sustainable models, and enabling policies for inclusive community and economic development in SMCs. This report compiles desk research, interviews, and roundtable discussions with over 65 national experts, guided by an advisory panel of nine experts.

    Commissioned by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), this report was developed by the University of Michigan’s Economic Growth Institute (EGI), with support from NGIN, and provides an in-depth analysis of how equity is being successfully integrated into local economic development efforts across the United States.
