With a heavy heart, we announce that we are unable to proceed with the Powering Inclusive Economies event on May 6 & 7, due to the health risks presented by coronavirus.
Powering Inclusive Economies: May 6 & 7 | Baltimore, MD
Growing inequality has become one of the most pressing issues of our time. An estimated 1 in 8 Americans live in poverty and people of color and women face a much steeper climb in economic mobility and opportunity. Why and how will the next decade be different? Have we invented the tools to change the trends of economic inequality and exclusion? How can business and civic leaders chart a course for their city which both delivers economic growth and ensures more equity from the outset? In what ways will regional economies work differently in order to be more inclusive and create greater prosperity?
New Growth Innovation Network (NGIN) is proud to host its annual convening on May 6 & May 7 in partnership with International Urban Cooperation (IUC) and Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC).
The Powering Inclusive Economies event will gather economic development practitioners, local government representatives, business leaders and non-profits from North America and Europe to exchange ideas and shape new solutions. The agenda is divided equally between main stage sessions and interactive High-Level Roundtables, so as to collectively develop innovative ways to advance equitable economic growth.
